How to Apply for Admission to the Ph.D. Program in Political Science at Michigan State University
About the Program:
The Michigan State University Department of Political Science is one of the top ranked research departments in the world. Although rankings differ in their criteria, our department was ranked in the top 15 by the Hix (2004) methodology, and scores well in the recent National Research Council rankings as well as the Schmidt and Chingos (2007) rankings that specifically track graduate student placements.
Program Admissions and Application Deadlines:
The Department of Political Science at Michigan State University admits students into the Ph.D. program for the Fall semester only. The deadline for applications is January 2. If you want to receive full consideration for admission as well as funding, you should submit a complete application by January 2.
